St. Louisans Supporting the Sea Services
Strong sea services matter to our national security. The St. Louis Navy League’s mission is to educate, advocate and create public awareness about our sea services and our country’s rich history – and future – as a maritime nation.
The Navy League of the United States is a non-profit civilian, educational and advocacy organization dedicated to supporting all of America’s Sea Services – the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S.-flagged Merchant Marine – by informing both the public and government about our nation’s vital reliance on maritime supremacy.
Here in St. Louis, our Navy League Council is comprised of of civic and business leaders, usually with Navy ties, who are deeply committed to educating local businesses and citizens on why being a maritime nation matters to our security and economy. We shine a spotlight on the importance of safeguarding open sea lanes, enhancing morale among service members and families, and nurturing youth local through educational programs such as Sea Cadets, Junior ROTC, and Science, Tech, Education, Arts and Math (STEaM) events.
