St. Louis Navy League Annual Meeting Announced for March 11, 2026
Join us for a special evening with visiting crewmembers from USS St. Louis (LCS-19) and the selection of this year's Award of Excellence recipient. We will also vote in the 2026 Council Officers.
The Navy League of the United States’ St. Louis Council has announced that their annual member meeting will be held at the Missouri Athletic Club downtown on March 11, 2026. A cocktail reception will start at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner meeting will commence at 6:00 p.m.
This year’s meeting will include several special guests including crew members of our city’s namesake ship, USS Saint Louis (LCS-19), who recently completed an extended deployment.
The regional nominees for our annual E-1 to E-5 Award of Excellence will be presented, along with the announcement of this year’s winners.
Annual business will be conducted as required by the council’s bylaws, to include election of the 2026 board and officers. The proposed slate from the nomination committee is listed below, noting that members still have time to nominate different candidates or volunteer to be considered for vacant roles. If you intend to add a name, please consult council president Henry Stephenson at president@navyleague-stlouis.org.
This event will include dinner and refreshments. Tickets are $70, payable by check, cash or Venmo. To reserve your seat(s), please contact Wayne Chauncey at wayout@att.net.
Business attire or Service Dress Blues is the preferred dress code this evening since awards will be presented.
