Empowering the youth of St. Louis youth with leadership, mentoring and maritime adventure through the Battleship Missouri Division of the Sea Cadets program.

The Battleship Missouri Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is St. Louis’ own youth leadership and maritime training program, backed by the Navy League council. The Sea Cadets program is for young people ages 10 through 17. It is a year-round, volunteer-led initiative that cultivates core values like honor, respect, commitment and service, while inspiring confidence and teamwork. Cadets experience dynamic, hands-on training including leadership, basic seamanship, SCUBA, physical fitness, military history and heritage, field exercises, medical and first aid and even STEM opportunities like cybersecurity and robotics.
This program is perfect for young explorers ready to challenge themselves, develop leadership skills, and connect with peers in a structured, mentorship-driven environment. If your child is curious about service, leadership and adventure, the Battleship Missouri Division could be the perfect launchpad.
